Lost is a loose description
Taken is more accurate
Colors, shapes, pictures
Have no meaning now
I use my other senses
Sound and touch in particular
I always hated the dark
And now I am lost in it forever
Never to see another face
Or the sun and stars
Things I took for granted
And long to see
Just one more time
